I guide my clients through the session planning process, which makes for a collaborative and highly personalized session. Take a peek at what this looks like in action:
After your booking is received, you’ll be sent a confirmation email with helpful information to guide you through your session planning process!
Timeline: shortly after your booking is received.
Identifying your session goal(s) helps give me an idea of how best to photograph your session. From there, the next important piece is wardrobe. Once you’ve decided on what you’d like to wear, just snap a photo and send it my way!
Timeline: 4 days (or more) before your session.
After considering your session goal(s), any ideas you may have, and your wardrobe photos, I get a plan in place for your session and select the perfect location(s) to bring everything together. Once the location is decided, you’ll be sent one final email with day-of details and a few reminders.
Timeline: after your wardrobe photos & session goals are received.
Here’s where all of the magic comes together! After your makeup appointment, we will meet at the location and have your photo session. If you’re a little nervous, I totally get it! I will be very encouraging and can help guide you as much (or as little) as needed :) Everyone tends to look happy in their photos because we’re having a great time together!
Once your session is complete, I will carefully comb through your photos and select the best images. These will be lightly retouched (exposure/color correction) using Lightroom and prepared for proofing.
Timeline: 24 hours after your session.
It’s time to see how amazingly your photos turned out! You will be emailed a link to your password-protected proof gallery. From there, you can review your images and select your favorites. If you have a lot of favorites, you’re more than welcome to purchase additional photos!
Timeline: 48 hours following your session.
Once your final selections are made, your images are then added to my retouching queue and carefully retouched using Photoshop.
Timeline: 3 to 5 days after your final selections are received.
The moment you’ve been waiting for. Your photos are all finished! Once your set is completed, you’ll be sent a link to download your final gallery of high-resolution images.
Timeline: 7 to 10 days after your final selections are received.
You have amazing new photos, share them with the world! Update your website, social media profiles and marketing imagery, share them with friends and family, print and frame them, make photo books, you name it!
